Summary

I scanned this bust of Ludwig van Beethoven using 123D Catch on my iPhone 5S.

This scan is of the bust I used for the blog post "Wireless Light Switch or Bust". The head of the full size bust flips back revealing a button that turns on and off my workshop lights. This scanned miniature's head is stationary...for now.

At 20% infill this bust prints without raft or supports in about 2 hours on my Makerbot Replicator 2X.

Is it possible for you to scan the model in a higher quality? This is an amazing Bust of Beethoven.

Reminds me of a "Peanuts" cartoon in which Shroeder is playing his piano with a bust of Beethoven on the top. Lucy destroys the bust, and Shroeder just goes to a closet where there are about a hundred more Beethoven busts, pulls one out and puts it back on the piano.

How cool is that? Awesome. And thanks for the 123d catch tip. I'll have to check that out.
