I don´t know why, but it didn´t fit my anet a8. its about 12mm to short. But it would fit, if it be long enough.

V2 fitted perfect.. Loosened the LCD, fitted the bezel and then tightened the LCD back up..

Thank you :-)

Thanks version two was a little tight but with a bit of rework it fit like a glove now.. I will now have to find the button one that was in the last picture :}

V2 fit like a glove on my newer (May 2017) anet. Thanks!

Thank you. I made the V2 bezel, but it didn't fit, because the gaps in between where not wide enough. So I imported it into Tinkercad and removed buttom and left stand ;-) Now it fits nicely.

Managed to squeeze the bezel in, despite some warping. A little bit of cutting and cleaning up the edges did the trick. Thanks for the design AZDawg!

le cadre rentre parfaitement, sa rend l'imprimante plus jolie est un peu plus fini.
un grand merci .

When my printer was back-lit I could see the gaps in the display panel. I did not like that so I printed this bezel. It did not fit at first, I saw that the corners were binding. I tried to file out the corners first but that did not work so I I v-notched the corners to fit. I also stripped the bottom inset as the top and bottom gaps were not the same. I had to use a couple of drops of adhesive for the bottom rail to keep it from warping - other than that - great design AZDawg, definitely adaptable to the many changes we see between models. A+

printed one. thight fit, was destroyed the first time i tried to remove the LCD ...

Version 2 doesn't seem to work. It is only printing the face and not the rest.

yes Version 2 STL file seems corrupted managed to only print one with the Bezel face and mounting flange...any other attempts failed to print flange resulted in the face only
i printed version 1 ok which wont fit into my Anet A8 but proves machine is ok
could someone upload a good copy of this v2 .stl please

nice job man, I printed one but the inside part that goes in between the frame and lcd is to thick .I even sanded the it down a little ,cleaned up the edges on the printer frame too. Any suggestions, Im going to print another one and try some different settings.

Thanks

It was very tight fit on mine. I had to reach in behind with my finger and push the LCD around to get the bezel to clear the bottom right since it was almost touching the surrounding plastic. Once I got it started I was able to push it in around the rest of the opening. The wall size is 0.8mm (two nozzle thicknesses for my setup).

I think the cut out on my frame is a little smaller that's why is not fitting I can barely fit a piece of paper between the LCD and the acrylic

I think I'm in the same camp as you. I just printed it and the print doesn't even clear the LCD screen. I've been sanding away hoping that I can fit it around then screen then jam it into the frame, but even fitting the frame into the bottom with the lcd screen leaves almost no space (as you were saying about the piece of paper) to fit the screen into.

It sucks that this print won't fit either because I've noticed my LCD has started to rattle when I print which is super annoying. I've been proactively putting in some spare heat shrink I have to fill the gap.

You can stop the LCD rattling by using a couple of foam pads between the 2 boards :) I am also having trouble getting this to fit on my A8 bought in April 2017. It fits on the top and one side but will not push in to the other side and the bottom. Same is true if I put the bottom corner in first...
