I have just printed it and I noticed that the cap on the mini version doesn't fit normally, because when I try to open the wallet the cap jumps off.

What are the sizes (dimensions) for all three of the models?

can I ask what filament was used for both parts?

Awesome! Now i can ditch my old 20 year old wallet for something I made!

Sos detallista eh!

jordymeasen,
I have a good solution for you:
Have you heard about netfabb? It is a online (or not $$) app that fixes all .stl files, "to get them manifold".
This might help for this projet or for futur project!
https://netfabb.azurewebsites.net/

  1. Sign in.
  2. Up load,
  3. wait for about 1 minute
  4. Donload the file "xxxxxxxx_fixed.stl"

I would have upploaded my fixed file but as it is a forum it is impossible for me. But try netfabb and It will work for sure.

In an other hand, newest versions of slic3r fixes some manifold problems like this. But I know support material is like shit!! What I used to do is use older versions specially when I need support material and use newest for everyday use. As this file doesn't need support material, Slic3r 1.0.0 RC3 works fine even without netfabb.

Hope it helps

Jean-Luc

Jean-Luc,

Thank you so much for your reply, it sliced perfectly! I'm going to print it right away.
I'll save your site for my future projects.

Kind regards,
Jordy

Hi, i tried to print the cap for the slim version but the slicer says there is a hole somewhere and it errors every time. is it possible to upload the code for this piece?

If this is meant to be kept in a pocket wouldn't a little bend be a good thing to add? Maybe print it with Ninja Flex filament.

The only good thing about the wallet I've designed is it's simplicity, and I prefered to keep it simple, so anyone could improve it adding some features they thought were important. Thanks for your comment, it may help someone!
