Summary

A bracket designed for mounting the MKS heated bed mosfet module to the Anet A8 printer. Pictures will come once I'm finished cleaning up my wiring. This bracket will also work for the Anet A6 printer, by mounting it such that the mosfet is above the Anet board.

Special thanks to Xerses for confirming that it also works for the Anet A6 Printer.

I think that maybe the heatsink on the mks will block the use of the usb on the mainboard if you want to use this on A6.

@mkantor - Good news, my modified support fits perfectly so this means that your support is a perfect fit for the A6 as well, users just need to flip it to put the MOSFET at the top and it is good to go. The nice thing about your single MOSFET mount is that the A6 frame hides the MOSFET almost completely making it stealthy. My dual support has one of the MOSFETs sticking out the back.

Thanks for the update! I will modify the title accordingly.

Will this work on the A6 as well?

It would probably work if you flip it upside-down, meaning mounting it with the mosfet above the Anet board. Based on the pictures I've seen of the A6, there isn't enough room to have the mosfet board mounted below. It should be fine since they have the same board, and therefore the same mounting points!

Thanks, I will give it a try once my A6 and MOSFETs arrive.

Would you mind posting an "I made it" if it does work out so I can show it works for the A6 as well?

Let me know if it works out for you!

Good morning,

FYI, I decided to use your design and created my A6 dual support based on it. It is printing now, but I have already uploaded it to this site (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2012148). Once it is done I will test the fit and let you know and if it does fit then you will be able to change the name/description of your thing to include A6.

I am still deciding on your mount or another that I found and I have not received the printer or MOSFETs yet. Once it is all setup and calibrated I will decide and let you know. A deciding factor will also be if I can figure out how to modify the STL to add support for a second MOSFET.
