Summary

LittleBits are modular electronics that snap together with magnets. They are incredibly ease use. These clips snap on to help keep circuits in place when attaching to projects. Latter, I will post a mounting bracket with two clips that can be held in place with screws or double stick tape.

Can you suggest me some settings (infill, layer height) for the slicer (Cura, nozzle 0.4mm). Thanks!

It snapped when trying to get bits into it, it was very stiff. I will try again slightly bigger

Hey, thanks for a great design. When I load the model in Cura, it's extremely small. Can you tell me the correct dimensions? Maybe just the width or height? Thanks

If you look at the size, the dimensions in mm reported by Cura seem just about right if they are inches. I haven't printed it yet, but I scaled it by 25.4X (uniformly) and it looks right. It's next in queue to print.

Thanks for the scale. It was a bit too tight for me, so I bumped it up to 25.6 and it fits perfectly on the littleBits.

Can you tell me how you were printing these? I tried it with the standard settings on a Replicator 2, but the hooks on the top keep drooping.

Greetings bsteinbach,
When I print them on my 2x, I print them their sides … that way only a
little support material is needed for inset in the bottom. I have another
version with two half circle insets that would probably print better without
support material. If you are still having problems, let me know and I will post
them.

rbrodie

could you post that?
