The PCB Workstation by giufini is an awesome design. But printing a plethora of parts for the articulated arms is not that much fun. Especially, if the parts do not fit perfectly and the parts come lose.
So @Esquilo had the brilliant idea to use flexible coolant pipes in his Flexible Coolant Pipe Adapters as articulated arms for the PCB workstation. You can get these coolant pipes on eBay or AliExpress for a few Euros.
Unfortunately, the original base socket adapter by Esquilo did not fit my 1/2" coolant pipes I got from AliExpress. The coolant pipe screw threads seemed to have a bigger diameter than the base socket's. A couple of other guys have had the same issue; cf. the comments on Esquillo's design.
But a great many thanks to Esquilo since he provided the SCAD-files for his adapters! So I was able to easily increase the thread_diameter from 0.5 to 0.53 and the coolant pipes fit perfectly. FTW!
