I've been trying to find an 'open wheel' spinner without success, so I made this one.
It's a quick and easy print.
Requires four 608 bearings.
Sketchup design file included.
Please post a picture if you print one!
Update 161216: three bearing version available - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1974338
Update 170202: hole for center bearing is a bit bigger, allows for a better fit when printed with bigger nozzle.
Better clearance for the outer bearings.
The halves now join at the center line of the bearing.
Updated version files: Fidget03.stl/.skp
20% (doesn't really matter)
Slide the outer bearings on. Tip - degrease the bearings before assembly for low friction operation.
Press the two plastic parts together. It should be a snug fit - moderate force required.
Press the center bearing in. As the bearing is thinner than the complete part, I recommend using an extra bearing as offset when pushing it in.
The parts snaps apart easily. You could glue it together for a more secure build.
