a very simple 3D printed battery terminal cover for the DJI Mavic Pro batteries.
Just to give it that extra protection :-)

I have also added a version without the two "inner" tabs to make it more "printer / filament" friendly.

Please fly safe!

There's someone on eBay using your photos. I would report them for copyright.

Thank you for letting me know.

Agree the design with the tabs is bad, they snapped almost immediately and left one behind which thankfully I could get out by holding it with some small pliers and wiggling it rather than just trying to pull it straight out.

The design without the tabs is better but it's not that tight of a fit so I actually find that they've fallen off in transit.
As simple as this design is, I may look at a more complex design that could hold onto the battery with some external clips just for piece of mind.

I printed 4 of these and I do NOT recommend this current design. The tolerance of the two tabs are too tight and unfortunately they broke off in my battery and are extremely difficult to remove. I printed at .2 mm and very precise. Glad it worked for the designer. I'm thinking the same design without the two tabs might work great.

I'm sorry to hear that it did not work for you, and the trouble caused.

What did you use? PLA or ABS?
Ib used PLA, and having no problems with it.

It took a bit of work but I was able to get the tabs out of my battery! Phew. Also, as I suspected, if you break the tabs out, the cover still clicks into place so I'm good to go. Thanks, Noel!

No problem. My bad for trying a force fit . . . I printed using high quality ABS. I generally can't stand PLA as it has a tendency to be messy / imprecise. It looks like the alignment (distance apart) might be slightly off as well. Maybe our batteries are slightly different too. Who knows. Now I just have to figure out how to get the very snug plastic that broke off out of that hole . . . without damaging the battery.
