Filament guide for use of flexible and elastic filaments in MK8 extruders.
This give possibility to lover the nozzle temp a bit and still be able to extrude with higer speed w/o getting the filament to bow out between the feeder and throat tube due to higher pressure.
You might need to ckear the hole with a 2mm drillbit and fine adjust the height if the pressure roll is too close

Can anyone else confirm this works well? Can I print it in PLA?

i havent printed one yet but i was told yes you can print in pla as i thought it would have to be abs or something but this guy said his is pla and it works fine

No, It does not work, PLA 3 tries :-(

Failed in what way ?
It is wery small, it needs a lot of cooling when printing.
And maybe put also a 5-10s minimi layer time.

I have the throat tube sticking up 1.5-2 mm inside the guide, then the guide is just sitting there, no room for it to fall out...

I'm curious how you mounted this to keep it in place.

From the picture it looks like they glued it down

It is just a reflection, it just sit there on top of the throat tube...
