Four baubles for your tree! These baubles use layering to produce a two-colour or three-colour decoration for your tree using no special equipment and no mid-job filament changes.
I strongly suggest a layer height of 0.2mm, as that is what the layers are set up for, and 10% fill is plenty. No support, no raft.
To print the snowflake bauble for example:
Print GraphicSnowflake.stl in white, with a one-perimeter brim. Leave it on the print bed.
Print BaubleSnowflake in the colour of your choice, with your usual skirt or whatever (i.e. as you usually print).
Remove, thread with cotton and you're good to go!
The candy cane bauble is similar but has three colours and so involves printing the white, the red and then the colour of your choice without removing anything from the print bed.
Why are the layered prints printed with a one-perimeter brim? Because I've added a one-layer box around each of the layered prints, so that when your slicer centres the job, that doesn't mess up the alignment, but the slicer won't necessarily start with that outer box -- and it needs to, to ensure the filament is flowing properly before the 'colouring in' begins. Having a small brim switched on ensures that the slicer starts with the outside of the job.
