2015-11-24 Update: I've been running on a loose X-axis belt for who knows how long. I tightened it, and updated the enclosure to reflect the otherwise loose PCB inside the enclosure. A nice side-effect of this change also means that the "lips" on the lid are thicker and doesn't break as easy any more. The v3 are the now updated versions of this.

2015-05-21 Update: Added treadgaming.scad (the source file that generates the .stl files) and treadman.stl (which is a file needed for the logo on the lid). I've also included text_on.scad for your convenience. Only needed when wanting to use text. Don't forget to set: use_low_resolution = 0; when rendering using F6 to get those nice rounded edges and corners.

2015-05-15 Update: treadgaming_lid_v2.stl uploaded. The shorter "lips" on the shortside of the lid was made shorter, as they tended to break all of a sudden when inserting into the base. Making them shorter makes them less stressed and prone to breaking. The "lips" were also made slightly smaller.

I also rounded the "lips" to make the lid easier to insert into the base.

2015-05-04 Update: Buttons updated. 4_7 a bit shorter, and should be inside the button hole, in case anyone want to tape the lid or something and won't press down the button by accident. 5_0 is 3mm longer and should stick out the button hole slightly and be easier to press as well.

2015-04-18 Update: Files are updated with latest tweaks and improvements. This is also what my Kickstarter Backers will get.

The photos of the plastic enclosure aren't updated based on the new updates yet. Please see the .stl files for the latest and exact design.

Basically, I wanted a way to be able to have fun exercising. And now I can, in a intuitive way by using this on my treadmill and one or two Wii Nunchucks in my hand to play games! :)


Well, print:

1 Base
1 Lid
3 Buttons

Put the plastic part inside the rectangle in the lid.
Put the TreadGaming PCB hardware in.
Insert the buttons in the lid.
Squeese the sides (to not let the PCB fall out) and turn the base upside-down, and insert the lid.
