That's such a clever idea! Well conceived and executed - love the way the theme gets carried through to each piece. (The pawn as a larva - holy crap, that's just awesome.)

In this version of chess does that make the queen (bee) the king? :)

Well since the queen is the most mobile piece I always that it should be the king.

It would make sense that the king piece would be the queen bee because the queen hardly ever moves.
