This is a remix of the Dymaxion Map by Gav. I've stitched the two triangles that are split so that it's ready for cutting. The yellow and red lines are cut. The countries need an engraved fill, and all other lines can be vector engraved.

I had to scale this down by about 12% when I pulled it into Illustrator. To use the 3D printed joints the triangle tip to the middle of the screw holes needs to be 15mm. Measure and scale accordingly.

Tips on connections if I do not have a 3d printer?

I know that someone else is working on a remix with laser cut connector pieces. It isn't ready yet, but keep an eye out on Gav's page for that remix to show up.

So about how to scale it. Do I need to scale the joints down by 12% because this is already scaled down? If I scale this up by 12% can I use the normal joints?

Honestly, I can't remember if this is already scaled. I think it is. What I ended up doing is measuring from the tip to the center of the hole to be sure it was scaled properly. Double check that and it'll tell you if it's ok.
