Hi Chopmeister, what kind of software do you use to create such forms?

Hi. I use 3dsmax to generate a basic form and the finish every triangle by hand. I like to be involved in the design as opposed to generating completely random geometry.

Just printed a couple of these tonight on a TOM Mk6 3mm using Jetty's accelerated [email protected]/s max. I used PLA both times
amp; took about 56min (each) to print it 100mm high.

Printed your last one out too!

Thanks, now get back into 3DS Max... :-D

I'm glad you like them, I also have them around the house. And in the office. :)

I'd like to make a whole collection of objects in this style, but then, I plan a lot of things every day. But maybe, given time. But there will definitely be more vases, and I'm working on some bracelets and stuff.

Pretty! What did you print this with? Is it tinted PLA?

It's printed with an Ultimaker. .2mm layer size, around 100 mm/s. Sliced with SkeinPyPy/Cura. It's red PLA, semi-transparent. It looks like that because I airbrushed it a bit with black ink. It will be more obvious when I upload a decent photo. :)
