If you'd like to order one of these printed, they are available through my website: https://bit-district.com/console/sega-saturn/phoebe-/-rhea-sd-card-tray.html

The Rhea and Phoebe are SD card adapters that replace the ever failing disc drives in Sega Saturn consoles. These are great devices but they leave a very large space open inside the console meaning you can easily, accidentally drop your SD card inside the console and be forced to disassemble it to get the card back. This SD card Tray is designed to fit around the Rhea or Phoebe device and seal off the inside of the console making it impossible to drop your SD card inside through an open lid.

This is a new version of my original Rhea/Phoebe Tray: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1546926 and address some fitment issues that tray had with certain consoles.

There are two STL files, one is the "base" that should be installed below the Rhea or Phoebe device. The other is the "shield which sits on top of the device and should fit securely into the top of the Sega Saturn case.

Fitment has been tested on VA0 and VA1 console revisions with a Rehea version 3.1. Other console and Rhea/Phoebe version should work as they are dimensionally similar, however if you use this file I would appreciate a comment confirming fitment on other revisions.

One small support for the cut-out in the center of the "shield" piece may be necessary. The "base" piece should not require any supports.

If you've already installed a Rhea or Phoebe device in your Sega Saturn then installation using the pics above should be self-explanatory.

There is an optional screw hole that allows for inserting a single screw in from the bottom (as show in the pictures above). It's designed to use a screw similar in size to those that hold the Saturn Case together (small enough to fit through hole in the base and the PCB but thread into the shield. This is not at all necessary as everything should fit securely without this.

Here to confirm that fitment works fine on my Type 3 VA7 Saturn with Phoebe.
This is using only the front support peg for the Phoebe unit.
