This is a remix of byambaa's hd version of the head and body from www.inov3d.Co. uk .

I did not design this model..
I just felt like printing his HD Baby Groot in one piece so i decided to remesh the body and the head and join them together .

thank you for making this i was looking for one for my sister now i can finally do it thank you

your welcome .. enjoy

Can you please upload the file in which he stands up? Or at least, the one in which the bottom part isn't flat. I wanna do a retopo and rig it in Blender. I can send you the rigged/textured version after I'm done.

i only reworked the original because i wanted the model in one piece. and have not redone any others .

what infill is best for this?

20% infill should be plenty

correct. no supports.
As you can see in the pictures its printing with no supports at all.

Thks for the Answer, Lets Try!

just wondering, how is this diffirent from the original?

The original is not only 2 pieces, but there is a smiling version of the head as well so you can swap out the look any time.

I did this remix way before he released his smile head.

the original is 2 pieces

can you post the stl? thanks

Sorry but i tried uploading the my .stl and .obj files. but got errors every time. ive contacted support with no reply yet.

Ok cool. I'll keep checking back.thanks

Hope to get the sTL files .. would love a 1 piece baby groot :)

if you have windows 10.
3d builder opens .3mf files and can save as .stl from there. hope this helps .

He if you didn't manage to convert the file here it is:(.STL)

Thanks, at ~300mb (6million vertices!) I had trouble slicing it so I remeshed again - 8mb stl can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2340875

The converted file does not open in Cura. What am I doing wrong?

Are you trying to use soundwave41's . Stl file? I haven't tried it so I'm not sure why it won't open . But if you have Windows 10 3D builder opens the 3mf file and then you can save as a stl from there .
