I designed this around the Harbor freight 2 dollar flashlight (it's a toy i'm not putting one on real steel :P )
The light slides in from the back and once locked on all you do is push on the lens of the light to click it on and off. It will clear all common barrel attachments but it will not allow drum magazines in this version.

I just recently got into 3D printing, also Nerf over the last few years. This serves as my inspiration to fulfill a project I've been toying with: an under-slung XBZ tank mated to an electric compressor and pressure cut-off switch. Maybe a solenoid trigger? I have all these parts, just not the shell to put them in. With that said, I think I have to just design it, right? (And then, share it!)

Seriously, thank you!

Quick fun fact: I'm printing the spool holder you designed (and likely the spool guide thereafter).

I made it! Its a unique design I am currently marketing on Ebay. The center logo can be back lit and replaced with different logos.

Once I have a few good logos to use I intend to post the cover and several replaceable logos as a kit here on Thingiverse for all of us makers to play with.

It will be interesting to see the remix's the community comes up with.

where did you get that motor cover? it looks sweet!
