------EDIT January 23rd 2017--------
Added cap with a Roll stop and improved esthetics.
sometimes a go I started to try to print a Fountain Pen for myself.
After printing my first pen on Fountain Pen Network Forum , one member contacted me to create a design we could release on Thingiverse.
Design done using Openscad.
All the threads are done in printing , no extra tool needed.
The Nib unit is a JOWO #6 you can source widely , that goes inside the part called section.
Here it is . The pen is just above 14cm long and 13.5mm diameter.
0.2mm layer height , 0.4mm nozzle
Prusa I3 MK2
Print slowly (40mm/s or less) to maximize the external aspect.
Sliced with Simplify3D.
You need to print the "section" file rotated by 180deg on X axis.
If the print quality is not good enough, please try to reduce the speed.
You can post process the pen with some varnish or some resin coating like some epoxy.
Openscad and Notepad++ :-) and a lot of time.
Credits to Bigbunny88 from FontainPen Network for the design and the help.
