Scaled to 41.5 and fit perfectly, but....
It causes a high-pitch whine that I can't stand. Can't use it.
Not rubbing - just some harmonic. Looks nice though - good job!

Yep, it blocks the airflow a bit which causes a bit of extra noise. Hope you're able to find a less acoustically irritating solution! :)

Very clever installation. Thanks for these!

Thanks for the files worked great!

this was one of the first things i made on my new printer and it works great. i was in a rush and it was peeling up on the corners of the build plate so i just printed it vertically and it still worked great. also seemed to be a little too big, but scaling it from ~41.5 to just 41 woks perfectly.

This would have been very useful as I just broke one of the fans on my maker... Do you happen to know how to buy a replacement fan? I think I will print this up once I have fixed it... Thanks!

Any 40mm, 12 volt fan should work, like these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BZK13LI
You could also try looking on ebay or on the Monoprice website.

Hope that helps!

Thanks- I should probably order those soon! Your fan guards look great on my printer!

Any chance you'd make a second one with the pegs on opposite corners?

Having the cooling fan screwed in on the diagonals is probably better for it's stability.

Yep, no problem! Just added the .stl file.
