This is my take on the Ikea PS 2014 lamp.
After looking for a small desk lamp in this style I decided to draw it myself.
It stands 230mm tall and is 150mm diameter.
This looks great and works very well.
You WILL need patients and a well calibrated printer.
I don't think this will scale so leave it at 100%
I have included STEP files also to help you change/remix if you wish. The SolidWorks files will not be available as I use custom macros to drive is all and they will not work for you.
Included is a PDF build manual with lots of pictures.
Have fun ;-)
The TOP & CTR segments will need support. I have included a pic of what my simplify3D supports looked like. I printed the segments in batches of 10 as that all that would fit on my mini.
I used 0.25 layer height for all but the arms they were at 0.15 as there are some small details on the arms to help fitment.
I did not need a raft for the segments as the PEI sheet on the mini stick very well. You may need rafts for the segments.
It may be work printing a couple of test parts before you commit to it all and see how it goes together for you.
Minor clean up
You may need some minor clean up inside the segment holes. I needed to scrap out around 50% of the segment location holes due to minor sagging. You don't really want to put supports in the holes it would be really bad to clean up.
Drawn in SolidWorks
This was all drawn in SolidWorks I used screen grabs from SolidWorks to help with the instructions.
