Ok i don't know what's wrong but Cura has a bug and doesn't put support on a side of the CTR_segment when i put it on the side. I've tried many many things and nothing work. When a try to tilt the stl the support stick too much and it end up breakin.

I have never used Cura. I use Simplify3D and find it excellent. I am not sure how I could help with this even if I uploaded the gcode file it would be tailored for my printer and its settings so it would not work for you.

Big Thanks ;o) !

Very cool... I had hacked one of the giant ikea ones to motorize it with an arduino and some pixel leds.

Would love to do that with this one as well... what is the slide mechanism that currently works to make this move.. i'd love to add a stepper motor in the base with a lead screw in the center to make the motion travel.

nice work on this!

The operating lever is a tube that slides over the main tube. You should be able to modify the stl files to allow a cross pin to go through the stand tube and connect a lead screw. You will need all the parts to be small as there is not much room.

Thanks I hated it for many many hours until it was finally finished and working. Now I love it.
