Fitd my MPSM V2 great!!! SAVES the printer and fingers!!!

I bought a MP Select Mini v1 and the fan is different. Printed one, but could not snap it on.

Snaps on well, works great! I mainly printed this as something to add color to the printer, but it does it's job and guards the fan too.

Just printed this out using Simplify3D and it did not come right. The program had trouble slicing the areas where the pegs meet with the body and they were almost completely separated. I managed to glue them back in place so it's now usable. I tried slicing it again, this time using the "separate connected surfaces" feature and it worked fine. I don't think it's an issue with the stl, but with Simplify3D itself and I wanted anyone who uses the program to be aware before printing this.

I have the same issue with Simplify3D.

Thanks for the warning! It prints fine for me with Cura but I don't have Simplify3D to test it with.

The problem with the model is that it's essentially 9 models grouped together. The 8 pegs are intersecting with the base of the model. When S3D sees this it cannot slice it correctly, some slicers on the other hand don't care. Instead all 9 pieces should be merged with each other to create 1 contiguous model. But i was able to successfully print it after telling S3D to "Separate Connected Surfaces"

I didn't realize I didn't combine the parts before exporting. I went back and did that and replaced the files here (v1.1). Hopefully, this fixes the issues people are having with some slicers.

I just loaded it up in S3D and it has no issues slicing it anymore :)

Excellent! Thanks for checking.
