Dungeon edge wall tiles designed to be compatible with Dwarven Forge dungeon tiles.
These tiles are designed to line their wall up with walls from tiles butted up against their neighbors. These are designed to be used on the edge of the map or to give more usable space for the play area, particularly for 1x hallways which would be impossible to fit mins in unless the wall was moved. Because the wall now takes up some space, you will need to use edge buffers in some places to get the tiles to lay out properly.

Painting was done in 5 layers.

  1. Paint whole piece in black
  2. Heavily dry brush with a dark grey
  3. pick at least one other color (that could be stone) and paint some random stones, front and back.
  4. dry brush with grey mixed with a little olive
  5. lightly dry brush with a light grey, focusing most heavily on edges

I would like to build a map for HeroQuest Modular with the parts.
But I always have places where something does not fit.
Does anyone have a solution for me?

I think the problem will be the wall thickness.
Here is a screenshot of my problem

sorry for my bad english :)

I've solved this problem, but only on the newer cut stone tiles. The edge thickness of the edge tiles made working permanent solutions to this problematic, which is why I made the new external design.

You'll want to look at either the external cut-stone series (http://www.thingiverse.com/devonjones/collections/openforge-2-cut-stone-series) with the adapters: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1536893

or you'll want to look at the openlock stuff that lets you snap walls on: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1882294

that is cool! thank you!

2 Questions :)

  1. is it possible that you make a door for one tile? pleeeeeaaaaaaaasssssssseeeeee ;) ;) ;) ;)
  2. Are there walls that have something more of the old look?

1) There's not really enough space, I havn't been able to make it work
2) not yet, I've been trying to make sure I have a "complete" of cut stone and tudor (think wood structure/tavern) before I move on to other styles. I do plan in the future to do both ruined and irregular stone.

noooo :(
Is it not possible to make it so similar to these parts?

Please excuse my question, but I find your work simply brilliant and would like to use it so gladly.

OpenForge 1x1 Small Door tile

So far I have not been happy with the results of any of my attempts to get it down to 1x, but I'm about to work on doors for the openlock system for cut stone, so I can maybe experiment with being able to do a single tile width door.

If I can get something that I'm happy with as a result, it's generally easy to back-port it to the tiles.

It would be really great if this would work. Our game group would like to have a 3D HeroQuest and with your solution would now go.
