Hi! Love the design. Did you ever get a chance to update it like you said for the update to the horizontal struts in the ducts? Was going to print it win some carbon fiber PLA and wanted the best version available since I only have an SP Racing F3 brushed board.

Thanks for the compliment. I have not altered the struts in the ducts. But it is possible to file/sand them delicately if you want a thinner profile. I have printed this in PETG-carbon, and must say that while carbon adds a lot to the cool factor and look, the rigidity it adds is not necessarily a good thing considering the small parts. I would not know with PLA-carbon as most PLA is pretty brittle as well. As far as strength goes, in my experience, regular PETG is the best suited for micro quads and accessories :)

how much does this frame weight?

Thanks for the interest,

I would say that depends on what filament you use and the infil% . I dont have the printed model near me, but i would guess no more than a couple of grams last i printed in PETG

I've read that the horizontal struts in the ducts (like the E010, in contrast to those in the Inductrix) cost a few percent of thrust.

Otherwise I like the design... I want to put an F4 on a whoop, just because.

You are absolutely right, its unnecessary drag, or atleast inhibits airflow in the propeller downwash.

It is noted for next iteration :) If you happen to have other comments, please let me know :)
