This design was inspired by DesignMakeTeach's excellent post "Sharpie to 3D Print in 30 Minutes" on his blog designmaketeach.com. Draw on paper with a Sharpie, take a photo, change to bitmap and save as an .svg file in Inkscape, load into Tinkercad, download as .stl and print. For more detailed instructions see the link below.

Thanks jcpoole. I did a bad job of linking to my earlier posts, since it is hard to look them up by "day" number. I'll go back and fix all those links someday... in the meantime, Google-ing "makerhome sharpie" - or for other models "makerhome knots" or "makerhome OpenSCAD", etc - can get you there sort of quickly
