Very simple watercolour whole pan (or "full pan" if you like) made in Fusion 360.
- 30x18 top
- 29.3x17.3 bottom
- -2 deg draft, top-bottom
- 1.4 wall/bottom thickness
It fits all my metal palettes (W&N Cotman, Primacolor, DaVinci, Lukas) but not the St.Petersburg White Nights ones.
I print my PLA stuff on a clean heated glass bed. No glue or anything, but just do what works best for your printer.
Depending on your material of choice, the pans may need waterproofing.
PLA can be a bit porous and my first prints (0.2 mm) leaked a little. This was quite easily fixed with a thin layer of acrylic paint.
I have, however, had a pan printed with 0.1 mm layer height on a pad of paper filled with water for a few days now without any water leakage at all. The pans tend to dry before that anyway.
When printed with ABS, I have not had any leakage at all.
Mainly just cosmetic, but I usually sand the outsides real quick to make them a bit prettier, mainly to get rid of the Z-scar.
