Three different mounting options to mount the mini differential IR height sensor by dc42 on an AnyCubic Kossel printer. May fit other effectors as well and the one that clips on the heaterblock should fit any V5 heaterblock.
- A mount for the sensor on the 40mm hotend fan, as in the photo. Add washers to the M3 bolts that bolt the mount to the fan to ensure the sensor is not tilted.
- The second one clips on the effector, between two diagonal rods.
- Lastly, a mount that clips the sensor to the V5 heaterblock that ships with the AnyCubic printers. This needs to be removed before printing but having it that close to the nozzle allows for a larger probe area diameter and (possibly) more accurate calibration.
Thanks to dc42 for designing this really nice sensor.
