Summary

Panzer vor!

Big thanks to user mmorao
(http://www.thingiverse.com/mmorao/about) he provided me with some fantastic reference books that made modeling these 100 times easier.

A collection of 1:100 panzer 4 models

currently contains
Panzer Ausf A
Panzer Ausf B/C
Panzer Ausf D
Panzer Ausf E
Panzer Ausf F1 (+schurzen turret and hull)
Panzer Ausf F2
Panzer Ausf G
Panzer Ausf H
Panzer Ausf J
Dicker Max

All hulls and turrets are made from scratch.

I know I should do so before posting but I haven't test print these yet. Because of the nature of my printer it would probably delay posting this by a month if i did. I can confirm that the tacks do fit after printing however.

Two new features in this pack!!! first i was asked to upload as parasolid, this should make remix making easier for those who wish to do so. Second, hulls and tracks are now separated. I don't know how I feel about this ask me in a month : ).

like before I included special command hatch versions of the turrets with open commander hatches. These should be reserved for higher scale prints. I don't think they will print properly at 1:100 but your welcome to try

Hey. I've come across your models very often by now and once again I have to say thank you very much for your effort on thingiverse! You may remember, one you uploaded a high res model of the Porsche tiger for a friend of mine. Now his son wishes a set of Dicker Max, Porsche Tanks and the E100. Obviously I checked your models and of course the Dicker Max were already there waiting. Thanks mate, you are awesome

I'm currently printing the H version, I printed a couple of turrets, you did a great job ! Once I will have finished and assembled them, I'll post some pics.

thanks again !

dimitri

Wow, that's fast work ! Great ! Thank you a lot !

Hi,

Thank you for your great work, you and Bergman are really helpfull for wargame enthusiasts ! Is there any chance for releasing a panzer 4 H version too ? Surprisingly (since it's probably the most common late war german tank), I didn't find any ? Or at least, a schurzen turret with the long barrel and single hatch ? Many thanks!

dimitri

when i was making this i assumed the late panzer 4 ausf G with schurzen was nearly identical to the ausf H however after some research i found that the differences are actually quite numerous. i just finished moving apartment so my rig has been in moving boxes for about a week. i think expanding this pack to the G H and J variants is a good way to get back into things. ill try to get this done over the next few days

thank you a lot ! Yes the H version is different, I'm not a specialist but I think the commander hatch and barrel length are quite different. I don't know if other differences exist, to be honest ;)

cheers

dimitri

Great job!
I am really enjoying printing these Could uou please pose a version of the Dicker without the treads broken out? Having trouble with the fitup with them separated.

Thanks!!!

Now we need some Sd.Kfz 222 models and we're all set!!!

Thanks!!!
Not sure how I've missed that one.

These are excellent, but then this is the standard you made us used to already!

Could you add the rest of the armor sets Parasolid folder. Or convert the previous model in the STL format with higher quality. Polyhedron instead of the circle - this is disgusting
