Hi There, i printed now twice times BUT i have a problem. The thicknes of the holes for the screws are a little bit to thin (always breaks after removing support) .
is ist possible to get the CAD data to modify the thickness? If i use Stretching in my slicer it doesnt make a better effect cause the rest ist not really fitting :/

i havent seen any evidence that it helps increese air flow. though i did notice a diference in the sound of the fan. the only changes i am going to make is make it a bit thicker on the mounting tabs.

Can u send me UR file. My. problem is, that the mounting tabs break or are too weak. Or maybe author can make em thicker.

Nice looking indeed, but is it really efficicent ?
Any measured results ?
Such trumpet have this shape in order to optimize air admission in a thermic motor where admission varies, it's not our case
We have only to look after the venturi effect to raise air speed just before impalers, but be sure the volume stays the same, only the pressure and the celerity change
The goal is to measure how much of that flow reach blower holes
I may test it out of a printer with a monitored fan if your are motived to improve your model ;)

Hi, that would be great! I don't have the means to do experimental measurements nor to run a cfd analysis, but i'm definitely open to suggestions!

I would have liked the tabs to be a bit thicker, but it was necessary to have them this size so I did not have to use longer screws. This is an excellent design that assists in guiding a larger volume of air into the fan; it sort of organizes the incoming air. I noticed my prints immediately improved especially where I had small details and overhangs.

thank you, glad you liked it!

Looks great !

Reminds me trumpets for carburators :)

Does it reduce the sound ?

Not enough CFMs to change the sound. You hear the chopping of the blades rather than the suction through carbs.

true, the sound doesn't change much, although it should still improve efficiency. Thanks for downloading!
