The models of Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow dash, Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy.

I have not made these designs, KP-Shadowsquirrel is the creator of these amazing models:
Go look him up if you want to see more.

All characters are property of Hasbro/Lauren Faust

Scale to the size you want and print with support. The models are currently around 4cm tall.
be very careful when removing the support, some parts of the models are very fragile and break easily (especialy Rarity's hair and Rainbow Dash's wings).
I reinforced my models with epoxy glue at the legs, tail, mane and wings.

print one of each of the models and permanently happier for the rest of your life.

more ponies will be uploaded once I got those converted/printed.

(PS. seriously, go and see http://kp-shadowsquirrel.deviantart.com/ to pay tribute to his amazing work.)
(PSS. I got permission to post these designs on thingiverse, if you want to do more with his work, please ask him personally.)

I've got the 2nd poses of Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow dash, Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy ready.

Also I have, Derby, Luna (pose1, not 0), Lyra, Trixie (pose1), Celestia (pose1) and BonBon done.

But none of these are printed yet, and some look very hard to print even with support. I also used the hires versions, as you can clearly see some facetting on the lowres prints.
If you want one of these models to test, email me.

=-O These are nice, I must print them all right now!

I think I'll start with Rainbow Dash ;)

Hopefully these weren't directly just converted to STLs. If they were, they're going to have some massive hollows, like behind the eyes, etc. The originals were .obj files and I haven't found a program that will convert them to the shell version.

Well guess what, they are. I still lack the skills to convert them to just shells. Having said that they only have a few small cavities behind the eyes and print just fine. I had no problems at all.

the problem is that the original .obj files where split into several pieces like hair, tail and eyes wraped arround a generic body. I don't know enough about 3D sculpting software yet to get them to merge without cavities.

Anyone that can do it better: go to the original files, download them and
convert them so they don't have the cavities. Then upload (preferably with the artists permission) so we all can enjoy.

I just wanted the community to have access to these models in instant STL without having to convert the files first. More models (sadly with the cavities) will come soon. as soon
as someone is doing a better job, I will stop uploading them.

currently i have a working version of Rainbow Dash without hollows. I have yet to have 4 hours to print her, but the .STL is solid. I'll post a pick when I have the print done

RoboLemur, what program did you use to convert the .obj file to an STL? Did you use any kind of plugin/filter to merge the models correctly?

Also, when looking at the STL, move the camera inside the body, look at the areas where the mane/tail come in. If you can see them protruding inside the model then you'll get the errors I'm talking about.

I can fix them up. (You need to "union" the parts together)

I've done so and posted an derivative.

Are the legs the only parts that require support? Couldn't you, say, thicken them up to improve printability?

The mane, tail and the middle of the body all use support, so thickening the legs won't really improve printability. Also if you thicken parts for printing, they will be less show accurate.

No way you printed Piknie Pie colorless. How dare you! Everypony should be printed in appropriate colors.

I hope that wasn't too loud. :-[
