My daughter was learning weights at school, so I thought it would be a great idea to make something so she could explorer more about various weights of objects. I have a couple of 6 mm ball bearings that she used to weigh up against other small objects, like Shopkins.
Took about 2 hours on the Up Plus printer and used about 20 grams of ABS. I used a M3 bolt and nut through the top beam and added a drop of lock tight to stop it coming undone. Also, used 2 mm nails for the buckets with also a drop of lock tight.
Its a great simple little device that would provide hours of fun for the kids :0. Hope you enjoy and as always any positive constructive feedback would be great.
