One of the best way to hang your headphones to the Desktop with style. For better quality, you could print all 4 pieces at once. After you printed all the pieces, trim away the support material from the knob and make it look like in the picture.
To keep it from slipping away, I also added two leather or rubber pads of 40x8 mm. The leather sims to be working better and I glued the pads to the plastic jaws using cyanoarilate quick glue (or super glue).
You will also need some nuts and bolts for the joints as follows:
- 2pcs M3 nut
- 2pcs M3x35mm bolt
- 1pcs M4 nut
- 1pcs M4x60mm bolt
(optional )4pcs M4 washer for smooth turning of the knob (place 3pcs under the knob and 1pcs under the bolt head on the other side of the gripper)
I used a soldering iron to heat the nuts and to immerse them in to their hexagonal holes.
Hint: It helps the knob turning movement if you lubricate the M4x60mm bolt with a drop of mineral oil.
Have fun recreating this project and post your pictures.
