The Replicator test print is a handy tool you can use to make sure your Replicator is set up correctly and to diagnose all kinds of print quality issues.

Each part of the print diagnoses a different issue: The two rectangles check build platform leveling, the center chip checks nozzle alignment, the squiggle at the right checks gantry alignment, and the two bridges at the front check extruder temperature.

Go to http://www.makerbot.com/docs/replicator/calibration-print/ for a more complete explanation of how to use this calibration print.

Combine the two files with the "Merge for Dualstrusion" option in ReplicatorG. Then print the merged files and consult http://www.makerbot.com/docs/replicator/calibration-print/ to check for issues.

The link doesnt work!

If you click "http://www.makerbot.com/docs/replicator/calibration-print/" it goes to "http://www.makerbot.com/support/new/Replicator_Original".

Can you please fix that or post the intructions here?

I can't find the instructions on how to use this file. I click on the link, but I don't see the instructions anywhere. Can you tell me if they have been moved? Or another location I can find them?

Hi, I'm new to ReplicatorG and gcodes, so I'm wondering why in the STL file you had this large rectangular shaped plate in the file, but it doesn't get recognised or printed? I just got an MBot, which is similar to Replicator, so I would like to use this calibration test on my printer. Thanks

I have been trying to get this to print for a few days now. I had to do the kapton tape trick to get my right extruder level... Now I made it partially through the first square and I snagged an edge and it pulled the print off the table.

When I calibrated I was able to slide a piece of paper under with just the slightest amount of friction. Should I try to get it so there is no friction at all when I calibrate?

Using the very thin business card that came with the Replicator, I adjust the build plate until it grips the card snugly (in between what I consider 'light' and 'firm' resistance).

You definitely want friction or your parts wont stick to the build plate.
