I thing this case for my 1.4 Ramps , I looks nice to share it with you . Bye

Print the bottom part with the base to the vertical Z axis , while the top cover print with the base to the bed . I set the speed to 25mm/s , with the infill in rectilinear mode at 100% . The interlocking of the pieces is dovetail , with a little screw in the bottom .

Wow, the top part only already took me a printing time of 2:45 hours hahaha.

Came out wonderfully though. I really hope the bigger standing part prints just as good! Thanks for this!

Can you share your source files in CAD format?

As a RepRap newbie I'm taking a little survey, and I'm curious to know… Where did you connect up the power to your electronics cooling fan? The build area fan is usually wired to D9, so it's not clear where to connect up a second fan on RAMPS (1.4). What was your personal solution?

as far as i know there are 2 options add a switch and split the power as it comes out of your power supply (fast easy option for adding fans anywhere) or there is a set of pins with the label Aux1 it should be 12v for the ramps fan if your not using it already

http://forums.reprap.org/file.php?13,file=23507 based on this image

for fan control grab yourself a 1k pot (potention meter e.g volume knobs on stereos) and you can turn it up and down :) just go from the power to the pot to the fan and back to the board ground instead of straight to the fan

add a switch and pot go from power to the switch then to the pot
wil be printing this soon :)

Thank you! I printed this and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:17912http://www.thingiverse.com/thi... and mounted this box on that plate in the back left corner of my printer...

I used some braided wire covering and wish that there was a little more space to fit all of my wires in there... its a tight squeeze.

Ramps/Printrboard Electronics Mounting Plate for Prusa

Nice! I like how it looks like a video card... sadly I use RAMPS 1.2, so I'm going to try modifying it to fit. Also I only have white PLA, so it won't look as good...

Nice box! Do you have openscad files? If so would you mind posting that? I want to use a 60mm fan.

I'm sorry but these pieces were not designed with openscad.

What did you make it in?
