The trick to pause the print to insert the magnets is ingenious. Nevertheless, I'm currently working on a remix that is using filament as rivets and a simple latch as an alternative.

great! we love remixes....

I just received the magnets I need to try out your design. When I import the box stl into my slicer, the dimensions are set to 6 x 16 x 1.6 mm. I am assuming that it should actually be 6 x 16 x 1.6 cm, is that correct?

Yes, scale with %1000

I'm interested in trying out your design, but I don't have the same rectangular containers for the knife blades. Do you have any idea where I could get them? They're necessary in order to use your design. Thanks!

Where did you buy your set? Normally they should be included but if not, you can design your own and print. Are you familiar with 3d designing? If not Tinkercad is a very easy online tool and these boxes are one of the easiest designs that a beginner can handle it I guess.

If you have a clear color filament that will be perfect. If I have time I will design and share.

And plus I am going to update the design. For the cover I recommend magnets because washers do not pull well.

Thanks! I am new to 3D designing and I have been meaning to start learning how to use Fusion 360. This is probably a good way to start. Would you be willing to measure the dimensions of those containers? With those, I can give it a go, thanks!

I have added pictures. So anybody can design their own little boxes:)

Awesome, thanks!
