Summary

After buy my Flashforge Dreamer, I printed side support for spools - and I used this thing:

Dremel Idea Builder Filament Spindle
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1737409

To filament get inside the printer I need print lids to rise the print cover, so I found this thing:

FlashForge Dreamer Lid Spacer 13,7mm by PeterS1, published May 14, 2016

I remix this lid and merge filament guide, look the pictures.

You need:

  • 2 Lid Spacer without guide (to front) - lid.stl
  • 2 Lid Spacer with guide (to rear) - lid_with_guide.stl

After print the lid spacer with guide, use small pieces of teflon tube 4mm (od) and 2mm (id) to smooth filament flow. Maybe you need enlarge the holes a bit, I left tight to hold teflon tubes in place.

How did you attach this to the printer? I like the design and i will print them for my machine.

Hello

Just remove the printer top cover, attach 4 pieces on printer and put the cover back.

When you remove the top cover from the printer you will see that there are small tabs in the corners. The four pieces fit perfectly in these tabs, look this image: https://imgur.com/a/YYAiZ

You need print 2 rear pieces and 2 front pieces.

Nice job! I haven't printed one yet, but you can count on it.

I will share a link on my post to this one. Nice work!
