Which one is "right for you? How would we know this? And do you have evidence that shows these work as good as any other purchased bearing? seems like you would have binding issues.

Lastly what material do you recommend?

What I meant by 'the right for you' was that you select the right diameter and number of teeth according with your printer tolerances. Ex. Things with diameter of 85mm your print print it with 80mm and so on. No evidence, so I updated what I meant, they will work just fine with 12mm rods.

I've been using with ABS for now but soon will test Nylon and PLA.

Thanks for your comment.

You are right.
Filament to be used is Igus. PLA, ABS will work to a limited extend, Nylon would be OK.
Note there is a ton of similar bearings published here, mostly bad designs but this one is fine.

BUT, if one makes his own bearings, no need to just copy what exists, better make them suited or integrated in your own parts. You then have something smaller, lighter using less filament. See my things. I improved dramatically my not too great Geeetech and now print with good result at 120mm/s, 180mm/s for prototypes.
Igus is not that expensive considering what you can do with it. Even no play lead screw .

You are right. I'll have a look at it.
