Is there some other version of the files available? I'd love to mix your idea with something like https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2224776 or https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1686378 but FreeCAD that I'm most familiar with isn't the best with STL files (or I'm really bad with FreeCAD which might be the case as well).

Alternatively, have you considered adding structural braces to your base so that it stabilizes your Kossel while also providing bed leveling?

Nice Design. It is definitely giving me some ideas. You know it reminds me of how I collimate my Dob Telescope. :)

Question though. That screw on the plate. It looks like it goes right into the motor. Have you thought about how much clearance you have to the motor? Like how long the length of the screw is. The motor on mine sits about 10.4mm, give or take a smidgen, from the top of the corner bracket. That may be something you will want to double check if you haven't already.

Coming back to the reminder of collimating my telescope. It has three knobs for adjusting the mirror and three for locking it in place once everything is collimated / aligned. I wonder if it would be advantageous to put three locking points on a design like this. That way it would not move from say any vibrations. That may be something to test out.

Anyways... I really like your design. I'll have to come back and see how it works out for you. :)

Hey guys,
I have some issues with my printer and don´t work on this Thing!. I also have a new Job i must learn for it but when i finished i have more free time as before to work on my Things. Feel free to redesign my Thing! and reupload it by urself. I´ll be happy to see the results.

Well, I installed and gave it a try. Here are my comments: 1) The bed fit's a little too tight and was hard to install. This may have caused a problem with the screws working properly (see next comment). 2) The threads on the screws did not "grab" well and made it hard to adjust the bed properly.

Thank you for the design, and I hope my comments help.

Hey,
Thanks for ur comment, I have some Problems with the printer and i haven´t print the current version jet, so i cant try it by myself. But every help is welcome to final my work ;P

I like the design as well! Please keep us informed on progress. :)

Hey!

I like the design, but would like to hear your comments on it. Did you work on it this weekend, how did it turn out?

Hey,
thanks for your interest.
I have Printed one version last weekend but its not perfect. I have correct some issues, than my printer don´t work correctly. I work on the weekend at the latest. I have less time in the week to final it.

I wonder how the mount go when using the auto level.

For example if it's probing near one tower would the other two lift up slightly due to the downward pressure of the nozzle?

Thanks for the advice. I think it would lift up, when it press outside the radius between two Towers. I think i must make a bridge over the wheel to fix this problem.
