A compact, adjustable Raspberry Pi camera mount that attaches to the arms on a Z-brace mod. Prints easily without supports and holds securely. Besides the peg the parts are otherwise symmetrical so you can mirror them in your slicer if you want the camera to face the other direction.

There is a small support piece underneath the peg that can be removed easily after printing. Sometimes it comes off when you remove the parts from the bed but other times it's a bit more stubborn. I find the easiest and cleanest way to remove it is to set the body piece on a table with the peg facing upwards, position a razor blade in the gap between the two parts, and tap on the top of the blade lightly with some other object. The support piece should pop off, no problem.

Would you recommend .1 or .2 for thickness... im using pla?

Shouldn't matter, really.

I got annoyed by the tilted picture on my i3 plus - so I remixed the clamp to a 20° version.

Except of that this camera mount fits very well. Thank you!

20° tilted cam clamp for Raspberry Pi Camera Z-Brace Mount

Great idea!

Thanks! Everything snapped together really well. I used a cheap Chinese camera so the camera was slightly misaligned with the pin hole. To fix this I merely expanded the hole post-print.

I like it but it annoyed me that the camera isn't straight but that's just me :D
But nice design.. :)

Haha yeah I could see why that might annoy people. But since it's just for monitoring the printer I figure it's more utility vs aesthetics.

haha :) The design is great, i thought about making something to attach to the Z Brace a few weeks ago but couldn't figure it out.
