Awesone design, i've printed the assembly and it fits. Well done

Nice design, reminds of the hori brand which is why it caught my attention, but is it possible to make it fully flat when closing it, maybe make the place where the switch rest on foldable, you must have already thought about it, but just asking if you have any tips on how to make that possible, and I still did not print it I am writing this based on some of the awesome pictures that people post.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I've contacted the seller to inform then that I released this design under a non-commercial license. I'm hoping they remove the listing and I do not need to escalate this to Etsy.

Cheers

I also contacted this seller about selling two of my designs. I received no response from them. I had it reported to Etsy and they took down his listings. That is when he replied to me with a nasty email saying that he is going to sue me and he put my designs right back up for sale. I had those taken down also. Another nasty email. Don't waste time waiting for this guy to do the right thing, he is not going to. Just report him.

I actually did receive a response from the seller yesterday and it sounds like it was worded similar to the responses you received. I'm going to report it to Etsy as well as look into obtaining legal counsel. As a software engineer I'm mindful to respect licenses of software I use in my projects and expect others to do the same so this is something I'm not about to take lightly.

Excellent! Thank you! I feel the same way that you do. It would be one thing if this guy said "oh, sorry, my mistake. I will take it down." but he just keeps defending how he has the right to sell all of our designs. Please keep me informed if you get any solid legal advice. I would love to take this guy and his arrogance down.

Printed 2 today. Had to do some shaving to get some pieces to fit, but overall awesome.I recommend people to use wire over filament for the hinges.

It fils perfectly for my switch and my tablet. It can be a little unstable if you are not on a stable surface but I have been able to play on my backpack in the bus with my girlfriends. By the way there is no hinges so I put a piece of wire inside the holes and VOILA!

Great portable design if you ask me.

Perfect fit, this is going to be great for my flight! You're the real MVP d34d.

I skipped the PLA hinge and used a small piece of safety wire in both the hinges and it seems like it will be very solid.

For people mentioning it not being wide enough, if you scale it the only thing that would be an issue is the small dimples that go into the switch on the base.

just finished printing everything and it came out great, thanks for the files

Haven't made it yet because i'm skeptical about the hinges, will they print along with the rest?

Overall, a decent design. I suggest making a version of the cradle with the bottom of the cradle filled in. It would be far easier to print that way.

The scaling on these is not correct. excellent design, can't wait to print it

Scaling should be correct. All dimensions are in millimeters and both Slic3r and Cura slice them at the correct size.

I agree with the scaling comment. Started printing and realized it was pretty small for the unit. Just a FYI love the design. I will wait for others to make it.

You can see how the unit fits in the pictures I've added. It's intended to be a compact design but it is quite functional.

I understand its a compact design. The design is great. I just need a wider base for the unit tipping left or right that's all. Will try to mess with the scaling. Thanks for the reply and work.
