This is based on my 9MM, 45 ACP, 40 S&W boxes which can be found here. I wanted boxes for my .223 reloading so this box is designed with the same foot print at the other boxes but taller. It uses the same lid as the other boxes. There are two main versions, a 50 round box and a 60 round box. I decided to go with 50 because it allowed me to have groups of 10 rounds which I find very useful for tuning my reloads. I make 10 rounds of each spec and then test them to determine which reload specs are best for each of my rifles. The 10 round groups make it easy to document which loads I'm testing. Please message me if you think 60 rounds/box would be better. I'm still undecided. Going with 50 for now. I'd be happy to create a 60 round version if people think that would be better.
Based on feedback I've added .stl files for .223 and 5.56x45. I haven't printed the 5.56 box yet, but it looks like the txt fits ok. Message me if it doesn't

I used Hatchbox PLA at 210deg or eSun PLApro at 225deg
Both work good.
Cut the built in support from the lid's latch with a exact knife.
Clean out the holes on the BOX with a small drill bit that's approx the size of the hole.
Use #16 x 1.5" Smooth Shank Wire Nails as your hinges. You'll need to snip them off to the length of the combined hinges so they don't poke out. Makes a very nice smooth pivot which doesn't work itself out and lasts a long time.
