Last weekend I was re-exposed to the game Ogre. My friend got the new Ogre Designer's Edition (go out and get it now, before they run out) which has some great cardboard cut out Ogres, but only flat pieces of cardboard for the other units. Playing with the flats for tanks was a bit unsatisfying. So I dug around in my game closet and found my old minis for the game. It seems I only have Combine units and could use some for the enemy.
Here's my start on some really low resolution versions of the Panuropean units. The idea is to replace to cardboard flats with versions that can just be tossed into the box without worrying about breakage.
The material presented here is my original creation, intended for use with the Ogre system from Steve Jackson Games. This material is not official and is not endorsed by Steve Jackson Games.
The models were created in Tinkercad. Printed with 1 shell, 10% infill, and 0.2 mm layer height on a Replicator.
The barrels of the Heavy and Superheavy tanks did not print well, so I replaced them with jumbo paperclips cut down to size. The diameter is a little smaller than I'd like, but I'm not really going for hyper realism or detail.
The Mobile Howitzer needs to be re-done. The barrel does not print well. I will probably replace it with a toothpick.
