My students used these for the games they made in class & loved them. Thank you! :)

Do you recommend no rafts for either extruder?

First, I tried to print both with rafts, and the rafts printed over each other (using Replicator G)

Second, I tried to print just one with a raft, and one model is printed at base level, and the other printed just a bit higher on the raft, so they are not in sync.

I don't have much luck printing with no raft, as the BPA rarely sticks to the plate (no, I Haven't tried hairspray yet).

are these fair dice?????

Yes, they are fair.

Tested for balance and it turns out these dice are balanced enough to use, but there are better ones. Printing with infill is apparently better, too, which surprised me.

Which dice on thingiverse is the best option at the moment?

SPACE DICE! Though their not on thingiverse. And I might be biased.

Honestly I haven't kept up with thingiverse, so my conclusion that the hollow dice is most fair is all I still have to go on.

Thanks, those sound fun - never thought about rolling dice in space.. :D

Nice. Can it be hollowed/weighted in such a way to make a loaded die? :-$

Yeah, but you'd have to redesign the thing as a hollow sphere with a tiny sub mm hole in the sphere. The hole will not get printed because a 0.1 mm diameter hold prints as a solid surface with no hole as the detail is too small. The hollow sphere will be weighted on one side. It should be a simple redesign with a free easy to use children's CAD program such as http://www.tinkercad.comhttp://www.tinkercad.com . Design and post on thingiverse to share with others. After printing, you can dip in acetone for 2 min and it will look like a manufactured product.

Great model, thank you! I printed this on the first day with my new Replicator. It turned out very well. Some of the white dots are a bit shallow, because the extruder pushed air before the plastic emerged. This makes a great conversation piece, since everyone knows what it is and how to use it ;)

Very cool! Any chance you could upload the merged Gcode or at least the settings for each file? When I try to merge and print this the dots don't fill correctly/fully.

I can print the default dual calibration cube and I have used both extruders independently for numerous items but can't seem to get a dual merge file I make to work correctly. One side always fails to print its portion properly. Thx.

I'll totally print one with glow in the dark material. Had one of these as a child.

Well, I can't call it the first, but it's certianly.... one.

Still, I kinda wish something like this were on the SD card that came with the Replicator as a test print. Just so that your first print was at least marginally useful.

Thanks :)

I made a dice with a spherical bevel so that it will roll easier.
