I had some troubles with a cable of my Anycubic I3 Mega that was disconnected during big prints. That's why I designed this accessory.

Hope it will help some peoples with the same issue. :)

PS: You really need to switch supports on for this print.

PS2: You'll probably need longer screws (M3x10 screws). On the Anycubic I3 Mega it's M3x6. You can try with it but it should be easier with M3x10 screws

Thanks for thething. I tried making this for my i3 mega with the ultrabase as my 3rd print. Seems it doesn't fit as they changed the white plug to a green one that locks! ultrabase owners take note ;) At least i printed some supports for the first time now.

Oh so the new version doesn't need a holder ?

Nope, the new version has a plug that locks so that it won't come loose

Will this work with PLA?

Sure, since the part where you fix it is not so hot. I printed it with PLA ;)

I had temperature fluctuation issue while printing wide objects and also the cable being vertical was limiting the maximum height for tall objects. So I decided to design this one: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2318877

I have no problem with temperature but your holder looks better since it hold the cable instead of the port. Good job :)

Hi Alex, I've made a REMIX of the your support: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2267522 Tell me if you like it.

Hi, nice job !
Actually I had no problem with my holder but if one day it breaks i'll try your version ;)

Good work. Very usefull.
I've made a remix because your support is too slim and the white connector is not perfectily locked. Soon I will post the enhancement.

Anyway good idea.

Just got this printer and this was pissing me off! Thanks for making this no more pissed off :)

You're welcome! Glad to see that it helps :)
