This is a rack for the E24 series of Resistors (1/4 and 1/2 Watt). Each drawer contains a spot for each decade from x10^0 through x10^6. The drawers fit pretty well but will slide out if tilted forward. I put little rubber nubs on the bottom, front which cause the rack to tilt back 0.5mm and also keeps the rack from moving.
Had a request for a 12x1 rack for the drawers so here it is. As per the request, I removed the hex grid.
By request I have added a blank drawer and exported the racks and one of the drawers to f3d files in case anyone wants to do a bit of remixing.
[2018-07-05] michaeljbell noticed a mistake in the text for the 1.1 Ohm drawer. Fixed it and updated the file.
I printed the drawers lying flat, gives the bottom a nice smooth surface to slide on.
The rack was printed lying on it's back.
Disable "Detect thin walls" or the numbers will come out wonky.
This is my first project done in Fusion 360. In fact this is my first 3D printed project that I created.
The Krang is one I drew for my children at dinner and decided to scan and convert to an SVG file.
