Video showing detail in model:

Please note: the print in the image was printed on a commercial Objet printer by 3D Print UK. And it is smaller than the original print of mine so you can print it on your printer.

[Update :: 27th August 2012] You can now create your own sign by using the blank sign body found in the derivatives section to the left. This will allow you to produce your own sign like the MakerFaire sign derivative made for MakerFaire. We would love to see what you come up with.

[Update :: 1st May 2012] As requested by MacGyver I have split the file up so it is easier to print. I have made some slight design changes too so you will not require any support. Now all you have to do is print the Base, Sign Body, Sign Legs and then glue together all the parts.

Thank you to MacGyver for pointing out the issues, If anyone has feedback or advice please do leave a comment below.

You will need to use support on the sign body but not on the base.

All you need to do is add a little glue to the slots and insert the legs on the main part and let to dry.

What Scale is this? thanks

HI rroscher, This is not designed with scale in mind.

Loving some of prints by MacGyver (x2) and Louflemal. I alo love the derivative by pixl8ed. Awesome prints and thank you for printing. :)

I have changed my account to The3DLibrary as we have changed name for new company we are forming. Thanks

really nice thing but when i printed one, the printer forgot two letters the U and S at the end of the word fabolous....

It should have printed them unless there was an error in the file but I have looked it over and it should be alright.

It would be even better if it was printable. You need to separate the sign from the sign posts then it should be printable on a home/hobby printer.

Hi MacGyver, I have just uploaded the files for the sign body and legs and I have made some changes so no support is required and there is no overhangs anymore.

That is freaking awesome! Thanks for doing that. I'm sure many more people will be able to easily print this thing. I'll give it a print later on when I get home. =-X

Great news, I would love to see some images if that is possible.

Thanks for your feedback MacGyver, I will split the sign body up so it can be printed better. But it should print as it is using support material but I am willing to split the file up. It should be up by the end of the day

Thank you Thingiverse for featuring my sign. Really appreciated.

Betty Willis's sign. ;)

Fun fact: Willis never trademarked the design, later saying "It's my gift to the city."

Thanks I worked really hard on this. And after a lot of thinking I decided to release it here on Thingiverse so many more people can enjoy my design.
