Summary

Niffler mid stealing.

Sadly supports will be required quite a lot. I used meshmixer supports to save material but they didn't quite work out so I wasn't confident enough to share the file.

I'm not sure if the 2 colour version is correct but I'm sure anyone capable of 2 colour printing can figure it out.

That should be fine, I might have even done 15%

I just saw that Chuck Hallebuyck posted on his Patreon that he made this model and came over here to print it. Looks like a great/cute model. When I open it up in Slic3r Prusa Edition, however, it looks like there are some gaps in the model. That might be due to my graphics card/rendering or there might be gaps in the STL? I'm not certain, but I thought I should say something. Here's to hoping the publicity gets you more downloads, likes, and makes. Again, great model!

I found a workaround. Upload the stl file to Netfabb Cloud, and then it was fixed for me.

Hi, thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately I've had problems with my models in Slic3r before. Something about the way I make them it just doesn't like. Cura and Simplify3D are fine though. I'll see if I can re-export them another way.

Can we see a pic of yours?

That thing would be even more awesome if you would have on version with fur like the main of the hairy lion

It would but I'm not sure how to do it

the two colored version works fine! at least in simplify 3d, i successfully separated the different meshes. and since it comes in one single stl, i don't have to fidget around to align them correctly. NICE WORK!!
i'll print this soon :-)

Thanks for the info :)

my girlfriend loves it. I'll give it a shot single coloured, and let you know ;)

No supports needed right? =P

Yeah... mainly because of the hair that moves outside of thebody.
Maybe slicing the model with mesh mixer could save up some supports.

The fur printed fine without supports really. It's just the arms and head need a lot of support.

The fur spikes that point down on the underside of the body will need supports. There is nothing for those layers to rest on otherwise.
