Cool design. Do you think you could share some step files to change the diameter of the rod in order to adapt other springs ? I don't have any G-2 at home !

Thank you for the design. Printed 90 mm version, then discovered that I do not have spring. So designed one. Printed from PETG and works ok with 90 mm version. File attached.

Do you have a smaller version? I would just shrink the scale but I doubt the spring would still work. All I have is a mini delta so I can't do a 150mm part.

whats your max print diameter?

110mm I could probably stretch it to 120 if I used my Z axis and a ton of support structures

I posted a smaller version where the posts are 90mm apart.

That is very cool of you!

Thank you for taking the time to remodel and post the 90mm part. Much appreciated!

Where on the meter's results area is the perfect tension level?
I am guessing..... in the middle??

I designed this tool to ensure consistent belt tension rather than be used to set belt tension to a specific value. It depends on the structural integrity of your printer. The middle is good for most printers probably. printers with motor dampers or less stiff frames should use less belt tension.

So next question, what tension is everyone running?

My belts are 5.5 marks in from the long side.

I've run them tighter in the past (not sure how much) and I ended up killing idler pulleys.

oh your the shit dude... probably the only one on thingiverse. Thanks!

That's why I designed and shared it!

I just added pictures to show it in use!
