I think i did it correctly, should i 'remix it' with acknowledgement and permission of Darevix ?
I also made a front version without the 2 extra holes, for people willing to put the triggers somewhere else.

Hola primero darte las gracias por este gran aporte, tengo algunas preguntas el mando snes USB lo aprovechas todo? Cómo veo que compras los pulsadores tactiles..no funciona con las gomas que viene dentro del mando entiendo que con las gomas es mejor,la conexión de HDMI en el caso de querer usarse anula el LCD de 5 pulgadas o se ve en ambos sitios TV y raspi_boy?

Hi. Nice design. I'm building one now. Have some problems with the case not fitting my parts.
The on/off button is to big to fit the case hole, and the hdmi connection is to big to clear the back side and the case cant close.

Is it possible to get the orignal drawings to alter it to fit?

Hi, I had the same problems.

In the end I had to cut the case to fit the switch and file the HDMI connector and the inside of the case to fit.

Very nice build. I'm trying to make one but I've two problem.
One with the 5V DC Converter Board which seems not to be enough powerful . The one you linked indicate 500 Ma . Is that enough for Pi3 ?
When I power the pi th screen glitches a lot on battery. If I plug a power supply : no problem.

And second thing is the audio part, I have o lot of noise in the speakers . Is anyone facing the same problem ? Did you find a solution ?

For the sound, everything is fine now. Some wire to the ground was disconnected : it's ok now.

About the power problem, I took info directly on the dc converter when it is powered on and it seems that the voltage is not 5v constantly.
I have seen up and down voltage all the time : from 3.69 volt to 4.88 volt max. I tried with another lipo : no success.

Everything works fine if I plug and ac adpatater in the micro usb slot of the charging module .
I Ordered yesterday another dc converter to see if it works better.

Please let us know how you go with the new convertor, as I have just found the issue today.... bit of a pain especially when I have waited so long for parts to come in from China.

A rough estimate would be 45-60 minutes per 1000 mAh or 2:15 to 3:00 hours for a 3000 mAh battery like he used

Sorry but doing a step by step manual would take me too long. I think that with having a little knowledge of electronics can mount the project without many problems.

Assuming I am buying everything for this project what wires do you suggest I buy? And what else do I need that is not listed?

j'aimerais le reproduire mais je n'est pas bien compris le schéma de câblage serais t'il possible d'etre un peut plus explicite sur la manière de raccorder les composants s'il vous plaît merci de votre compréhension.

Utilisez simplement toutes les pièces avec lesquelles vous vous sentez confortable, pas besoin d'utiliser exactement les mêmes éléments ou les instructions de câblage :)

Im not understanding your wiring for the charging board. in your picture it looks like you have 4 wires soldered to 4 ports however the board you provided does not have 4 ports.

I downloaded this file before, last month when I printed the LCD fit tight, yesterday i downloaded again the lcd fit losely. does this file stil the same or allready newer version? thanks. :D

Yes I made a small change in the area of the screen, but the rest of the piece retains the original design.

Can I have the old file again? I kinda like it more becasue the new one the LCD panel is too loose, :D btw how you print the front case? front facing down? or front facing up using support? Thanks.


This looks incredible, thanks for posting! One small request, could you add a headphone jack? Something like this: https://goo.gl/Rq7O6h would make the build perfect, and it should allow the speakers to automatically disable when it's plugged in.

Nevermind, I see that's it's pretty trivial. Just connect the R, L, and GND of the headphone jack to the same inputs on the amplifier. Drill a small hole in the case, and you're good to go. Hopefully if you turn down the amplifier all the way, you should only have sound coming from your headphones.
