Hello, I am trying to make this for a friend. I am wondering how you would position this on your slicer to print. My thoughts would be just to print it from the bottom up. I would assume you need supports regardless. Would you just make supports touching the buildplate or everywhere? I am using cura as my slicer.

Hey! I'm a big fan of your work (I've printed this model several times already). Recently, I've come up with this idea of printing an RC racing car and I think this design woud be perfect for it, so I was wondering if it would be possible for you to provide me with the files in a 3D solid model (such as .sldprt or .igs), please? I would like to modify your design to fit my purposes (purely recreational). Thank you so much in advance :)

Our family had a '69 Charger when I was a kid. Flip open headlights, cool looking car. You don't see many of them any more.

How hard would it be to make a version of this that was just a "shell" so to speak of the body. Similar to what a plastic model car kit would provide?

I'm working on a project to make inexpensive 3D printed 1/43 scale slot cars. This would be a cool body.

Hey, Not hard. You can try the meshmixer "Hollow" option. Or you can try to print it only with perimeters, no infill, no bottom layers and you must add the support for the mirrors etc. (no automatic support, that wont work well)

ROBBIE REYES! oh wait... never mind

For some reason it resets all settings and doesn't recognize as a print

Do you mean the settings in the slicer?

No, it wont even load and i think it gave my computer a virus

Ah okay. I checked the files with Kaspersky and there is no problem with it. Can you send me the corrupt file?

after three weeks, still no respond. The files are all OK!!!
Thanks for your professional and constructive comment.

All good bro. We are printing it...

Nice to hear :). I am looking forward to the finish model.
